Ms. Moore is a native of Nashville, TN and a product of the Metro Nashville Public School System. After graduating from McGavock Comprehensive High School, she attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where she received a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology. Ms. Moore also earned a master’s in administration supervision from Trevecca University. After teaching 3rd grade at Lakeview Design Center for 4 years, she was promoted to the assistant principal position and served in that position for 3 years before coming to Carter-Lawrence Elementary Magnet as the principal.
Ms. Moore has 11 brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews. She enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing with a good book, and shopping, shopping, shopping.
Ms. Moore has a passion for educating our youth and truly believes she is serving in her purpose as an instrument to ensure that every child is successful. It is her desire that every student at Carter-Lawrence Elementary develop the necessary skills and self-motivation to become a college graduate some day! |
